Cheese Tortellini with Garlic Butter Sauce (One Pot)

Cheese Tortellini with Garlic Butter Sauce
Quick and easy cheese tortellini recipe, loaded with garlic butter sauce. This 30 minute meal is made with simple ingredients in one pot. 

  • 1 package Three cheese tortellini Frozen, 19 oz. bag
  • 1/4 cup Butter Unsalted
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic Finely minced
  • 1.5 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1.5 cups Vegetable broth Low sodium
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste 


  1. Boil tortellini, according to package instructions, in salted water. Drain and keep aside. 
  2. In the same nonstick pot, heat butter and olive oil over medium high heat until butter is fully melted.
  3. Add garlic and saute until golden brown. 
  4. Dissolve cornstarch in broth and pour this mixture in the pot.
  5. Mix in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper. 
  6. Bring to a boil and let it cook, uncovered, until sauce thickens.
  7. Mix in the boiled tortellini until fully coated. 
  8. Garnish with finely chopped fresh herbs like basil or parsley and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese.
